The strength of the LPB herd is based on the best genetics available from many well-known foundation sires. The LONE PINE BRAUNVIEH herd sires, LPB JUST "7" and LPB MR. BANDIT are producing award winning calves that are long bodied, well muscled, and ready to grow.  Our newest herd sire, LPB POLLED FARMER is black and smooth polled.  His calves are extremely growthy, and have lots of muscling with depth of rib.

Our goal is to enhance genetics for greater carcass yields and lower birth weights, thereby improving our blood line. We select only the top 20% of our bull calves to be future herd sires for our buyers.  Culling is based on calving ease, phenotype, performance data, and disposition.  Those that don't make it into the "select few", are banded at weaning. A LONE PINE BRAUNVIEH herd sire will make a desirable addition improving any commercial or purebred herd, adding dollars to your bottom line.
